Fall 2011

We have had a very busy fall!  Can't believe that Christmas season is already upon us.  We had a great time when my parents came to visit and now we are counting down the days until we go to MN for Christmas.  I love the holiday season!
We had a great day at a local pumpkin farm.

Easton was a pro at milking the cow!  Uncle Charlie would be proud.

Maddie used this as a photo op.

Grabbing a bag to go down the slides.

Carving pumpkins.  Notice Maddie's vampire teeth.

My little grumpy pirate.

Loving the new bed from Grandpa and Grandma Richardt.

Hanging out at the Opry Hotel with Grandpa and Grandma Bent.

Maddie's birthday party at Build a Bear Workshop.

Making a wish on their hearts that they all put into Maddie's stuffed animals.

Easton stuffing his camo bear.

All the kids with their bears on their heads.

Ring Farm

We spent the day with our good friends Lea, Caden and Blake at the Ring Farm here in Spring Hill, TN.  The kids had a lot of fun and burned a lot of energy.  Here is Easton playing with the trucks.  You can see the big tube slides in the back.  The kids had a blast with those!

Hello!

Good-bye!

Maddie and her friend Caden.  They get along so well.

Maddie pulling all of the boys in a wagon thru the corn maze.  So funny!

Tractor ride thru the farm.  Big fun.  We went back after supper and rode it in the dark. Spooky!
Beautiful Tennessee.

Crazy Days!

Last week was crazy days at Maddie's school.  Her and the little girl to the very left were dressed as "twins day".  You can see it consisted of a pink tshirt, blue jeans and a side pony.  All of her classmates wanted to jump in for a picture too!

She dressed as Betsy Ross for "historical figure" day.  I'm pretty sure Betsy sported Hannah Montana socks as well.

Friday was "crazy hair and clothes day".  Pink hair and a tutu.  She looked 16.

We went to the "touch a truck" event on Saturday.  I can't remember what Easton is sitting in, but he is loving it!

Baby Cows!!!

Baby cows came to visit Easton's school today.  Here is the entire gang.  His teacher is Ms. Brandy, she's the one way to the right.

Easton and the calf.

Maddie did her makeup before going to bed tonight.  Looking sassy!

I couldn't resist snapping a picture of my little pumpkin.

This week is Spirit week for Maddie's school, so I'm sure I will have more fun pictures to come.  Hope everyone is doing well.  Miss all of you!

Fall Festival

We went to the fall festival in Thompson's Station yesterday.  Kids had a great time and we all had some great fair food!

Maddie and a miniature horse.  The Equine hospital had an open house and we got to go over and see the horses.  Kids LOVED it.

Easton painting his pumpkin.  He was so thoughtful and painted one for his sister.  He was so proud to give it to her.

Kids also got their hair spray painted.

Took a break to look at the Halloween decorations at Target.  Maddie and I went to the bathroom and Easton swiped her slushy.  She was not happy when she saw this picture.

We went to kid's night at Chick-Fil-A in Franklin last Tuesday.  Free face painting and balloons.  Here is Easton with his Robin mask and his green sword.

Maddie was a beautiful butterfly.  I hated to give her a bath, but it would've been a mess in the morning.

Madelyn and Addison from our trip to see SDSU play in Illinois.

Easton and Daulton.  I'm not sure what is going on here...

Went to the Grand Ole Opry with Lori and Jeannie.  I think you would all enjoy it.

Here we go!

I can't believe that I'm starting a blog, but it seems like the kids are always doing or saying something that I would like to share with the grandparents.  A lot of my friends down here have a blog for the same reason and I don't want to be posting everyday occurrences and photos on facebook.  This is really just for the four of you to keep up with your grandkids that are so far away.  I'm going to be posting videos and pictures on this site, and I'll try to figure out a way to send you email notifications when something new comes up.  You may have to check your junk mail to be sure the notifications aren't being sent there.

Hope you enjoy!  I'd love to hear your comments and feedback to the pictures that are posted.
